Left, left; left-right-left: Nothing in between

Left, left; left-right-left: Nothing in between

In political, social, religious and personal situations - we often, are said, to take a 'central' path. Even I had lived up with this notion for many years, having nurtured myself in an educational ambiance that has its roots to the industrial age.
And thanks to computer science, that caught me by surprise early in my schooling. The world of binary came early. It had only two stands - '1' and '0'. It divided the world into two clear demarcations, helping me understand, accept or discard many philosophies, theories of past millennia. Of course, octa and hexa systems were later incorporation during later years - but the binary sys. has remained an influence...
people are either 'good' or 'bad'
we either 'love' or 'hate'
in terms of thinking, we are either 'leftists' or 'rightists' - though there are compromising positions for all of us. (here - left and right is not intended for political definition or affiliation.)
and the list goes on...
the world's newer binary thoughts contain some such examples too...
we can think, or let other people think for us
we can consume info what we want or let others spoon-feed us what others want
we can choose our friends, or let others choose us for friends
we can live for something that matters to life-system as a whole, or can perish for someone else

When we take compromising stand, we aren't settled. One day, life pushes you into '1' or '0' - two of the outcomes you could have possibly taken earlier in life, saving precious time and energy. Mind it, any third stand is a 'defunct' switch. Don't be one. You can't settle compromising. Compromises have to be settled.
Live; the 'off' is the only other option awaiting. You aren't going to hang midway between 'heaven' n 'hell' ('1' n '0' - once again, precisely.)
